Rot in the system

A lot of rot has set into the system wherein there is no time to stand and stare. There is no way you can think of solutions every moment. This is the problem. The problems of Dekhi can be solved at home. There are enough intelligent citizens already in this pursuit but not in the ranks of the power wielding.

My Brother

This woman from a village background is forced to marry the brother of  her late husband as there is a unwritten law in the community for the brother of the deceased man to have right of way in taking the widow under hi s fold .although there is a muted ceremony to seal the marriage it is something binding on the widow which itself was a sort of a crime against a widow.

There was not the usual well being in this kind of a relationship but an ever present suspicion hanging in the air with a daughter from the first marriage and a son from the next.

Life moved on with the attendant trauma of carrying this heavy mental baggage though there was money there was not the peace at home.Differences cropped up in the bringing up of the two children and the individual prefences of the two parents and their priorities and affections divided between the first and the second  marriages.

The woman could never get out of it because the man had a lopsided view of the matter of extending the affections to each of the child.

Matters came to a head and there was violence soon .Physically battered and  traumatised and unable to get along with the daily dose of difficulties she decides to take the bull by the horns. But she requires a man to da that. Not finding any source from her family or community to stand up against a bully in the city she approaches the employer of her husband.

The employer appreciates her courage to express to a stranger at the same time does not take sides but informs her of the high value of her professional husband to the company and his indispensability but assures her  to rectify his twin personality.Soon he gets down to the task  and takes the man into confidence and counsels him for better and seamless co-existence of home and work place and to have a harmony that is holistic and not piecemeal. He evolves very soon and very little damage done. They are an example to day as a unit in diversity.

A man need not fight from outside but from within to  re-enginner the inner self of a brother whilst in the pursuit of helping women in general.

My son just hit puberty. And though I had accepted the pro’s and con’s of being single mother a long
time ago, Never thought it would come to a point where I feel like ripping my hair apart over a beard.

My son just started shaving. And initially when I told him he could start shaving He did it each and every
day. And at first I thought he would continue doing so for the rest of his life. Li’l did I know that once he
reached college or actually once he could actually grow a whole Stubble/beard. He wouldn’t touch the
razor for weeks and even if he did it would be one of those buzz shavers which never gives his face a
clean shave like normal regular people.

After an age long debate on one fine Sunday, He told me how girls in his college told him that they like a
guy with a Stubble and “it’s cool ma” and more jargons I can’t remember and do not really understand.

I told him those girls don’t even know what they like or dislike and girls love a neat, clean and a tidy boy
over a rag picker like how he looked. Since he never really agreed on shaving. I used the only method I
knew , I’ll double your pocket money if you shave! But will give you half of your current on all the days
you have a stubble or a beard.

After a pondering over what I told him for a very long time, He walked into my room completely clean
shaven with an outstretched arm.

I was so happy to see my boy’s face that I gave him the extra money too but it sure was worth it!

Please change our countries Capital!!!

Its a shame that we have a capital with such maniacs living here!!!

I was browsing the internet  and came across an article that read how a man became a victim of road rage in our national capital. His name was Punit Tandon and was returning home after having dinner with his family in the posh greater Kailash area.An Audi car came behind and was continuously honking. This annoyed the Tandons who were ahead in their Honda city car.A quarrel soon broke out between the two sides. It gradually lead to a fight. The men inside the Audi bashed Punit with a baseball bat. They got into the car and dragged Punit for almost 50 meters.I was surprised and shocked to read this article.Have humans become like animals??It’s a real shame that such incidents keep coming up time and again. It’s a disgrace.Have we become a nation of bullies?? What is wrong with people’s attitude ??

Today, people have become intolerant of each other. In the race of success we have forgotten to be humans. We have become more aggressive. There are increasing number of cases of road rage, rape and murders. In this fast and competitetive world it’s important to have a good attitude. It will help you to cope with the daily life affairs.Life would be so much easier if people were a little more polite and courteous. It’s time for us as a society to stand up against intolerant behaviour. We should change our negative attitude and be more patient, sympathetic and tolerant towards others.Negative attitude serves no good to you or others.

Nothing can better!!!

I am a great animal lover, and I come from a family who owned many pets.We had two dogs, two parrots and one Hill Myna. So,I guess that’s where my penchant for animals comes from.I had a German Shepherd named Sally, who was highly intelligent and affectionate and I have very fond memories of her.

Pets like Dogs and cats relate very easily to humans.Especially,Dogs are profound and very understanding animals.Owning a pet has many advantages. It’s so soothing to see a pair of warm puppy eyes running towards you when you come back tired from work. It’s so comforting when your pet sunggles near you when you are all alone. It’s the best feeling in the world.

Research proves that dogs are great stress busters. They instantly change your mood and lower your blood pressure.Walking your pet everyday gives you the much needed physical excercise.Playing with your pet helps to shed those extra calories.Animals are not judgemental and give us unconditional love and they are the best companions to be with.
